How often do you recommend getting your windows cleaned?

Most of our clients have their windows cleaned inside and outside every year. Others have them cleaned two to three times a year, some even monthly. It depends on a number of factors including how windy and dusty it is near your home.

Is Best Way Window Cleaning willing to only clean the high and hard-to-reach windows?

Yes, we have a number of clients that clean their own lower windows or interior windows and ask Best Way Window Cleaning to clean the rest.

We are extremely safety conscience and in over 18 years we have never had an injury on the job. We are very proud of that record and aim to do our best to keep it that way. Best Way Window Cleaning realizes accidents can happen and has personal accident insurance.

It’s dirt, not rain that makes your windows spotty.  For that reason, rainwater will not leave marks or water spotting on clean windows. That’s why clean windows are not usually affected by rain. (with the exception of basement well windows after a heavy downpour due to rain hitting the ground and throwing mud on the glass).

Best Way Window Cleaning is open from May 15 through October 15 every year. We are usually booked up for a month in advance so it is important to give us a call early so you don’t miss out. We really appreciate it when homeowners take the time to do a few quick things before we arrive to help us to have reasonable access to your windows. While at the same time, we also realize that not all homeowners are in a position to lift heavy objects or have the mobility to reach every window. 

Here are a few things you can do that let Best Way Window Cleaning focus on giving your windows the best clean they deserve:

• Exterior windows: Move any items—like BBQs and toys—that are directly below your windows so we can have access to our ladders. 

• Interior windows: Pull up blinds, open curtains, take all knickknacks from window ledges and remove suncatchers. Please move any lamps and plants away from your windows so we have easy access to your interior windows. 

What products does Best Way Window Cleaning use to clean windows?

Here’s the secret ingredient that most window cleaners use to clean windows—a little bit of dish soap. A little bit of soap goes a long way, and for our average cleanings, we will use less dish soap than you might use to hand wash your dishes. 

If your outside windows have hard water build-up, we use a limescale remover to help us get your windows as clean as possible.

What is the best way to get an accurate quote from Best Way Window Cleaning?

The easiest way to get an accurate window cleaning quote is to take photos of each exterior wall of your house. Stand back far enough so each photo provides a view of all the windows that you would like cleaned. (See example) Include enough of the ground level to show any landscaping so we can see where our ladders can be placed. That way we will be able to provide an accurate quote for your window cleaning estimate.
